Since 1938, the Alpha Chi Sigma Professional Chemistry Fraternity House has provided a unique opportunity for graduate students by creating an environment that allows students to keep in contact with each other by living in the same house, but not together as in an apartment setting. The house is located about a 10 minute walk from the chemistry buildings and only 3 blocks from the 22 Illini bus route. Rent includes all utilities including local phone, ethernet, laundry and cable. All rooms are furnished with a bed, dresser, closet and desk. Large common areas provide a chance to relax and talk with other members in the house. Other unique features of the house include off street parking, a large kitchen area, pool table and library facilities. The house is located at 606 W. Ohio St. in Urbana.
